 New 6 Week Class

This class led by Mary Mc Shane (BA, MA, International Accredited Journey Practitioner) offers everyone, regardless of religious background or meditation experience, a chance to connect to their inner, divine selves, release stress and be fully present in the moment. It is an excellent chance to fill a spiritual void that many people experience in life and to connect to what is most important. Mary has been holding meditation classes in Dundalk for over a year with miraculous results for people helping them let go of stress and find peace inside.

“I've been going to Mary's weekly meditation sessions in Dundalk for over a year and I've gotten a lot out of them, so I highly recommend this series of classes starting in the Strong Room.” Ambrose McDermott, Lordship, Dundalk.

‘I have been going to Mary's Monday night meditation class for over a year now, and have found it to be the perfect way to relax and realign body and mind with Mary’s unique method of guided meditation.’ Shane McCollum, Ravensdale, Co. Louth

The Magic of Meditation - with Peter Bligh

People who are really good at what they do make it look easy. Teachers, probably above all, are no exception. The best teachers teach from example and above all they teach from the heart.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to be able to spend time in the Studio with Peter Bligh over the last weekend and again on Tuesday afternoon were indeed fortunate. We sat with a special teacher.

Peter travels light and carries the essentials, most of which don’t show up on the scales. A profound knowledge of yoga and the ability to transmit his understanding. His understanding is based on his own practice of meditation, which he has learned from his teachers and made his own.

Peter created a space for us to learn what he wanted to teach. He was very clear about what he wanted to put across and it was all very pragmatic. ‘First, you have to find a comfortable position in which to sit.’ ‘You’re not here to sit cross-legged. You’re here to meditate.’ ‘Open your mouth wide when saying AUM and it comes out louder.’ …..’Watch that mind, you’ve got to teach it you’re in control…..’ ‘ ….. breathe ….. watch the breath ….. count the breath ….. come back to the breath…..always come back to the breath ……….. so many ways to practise meditation …... don’t have to be special ….. so easy to bring them into everyday life  …..’

And then there was the magic.                                                                        Susan McCrum
