GENERAL CLASSES
All our General Classes are "Drop-in" Classes and do not require pre-booking. These classes are normally £8.50 per class but by buying books of tickets the price can be reduced considerably.
There are several classes to choose from:
MONDAY 6.00 – 7.30pm with EMMET DEVLIN | |
Emmet’s class is suitable for every one and particularly welcomes beginners as well as more experienced yoga practitioners.
There is an emphasis on modifying postures using blocks and belts, gentle pranayama (breathing) practice and Emmet usually completes the class with a guided visualisation and relaxation.
Many of the students who come to this class have been enjoying Emmet's classes for a number of years, but new members are always welcomed. | |
TUESDAY 7.00 – 8.30am with EDDIE KELLY - The "Early Bird" Class

| | This is a new class that we have recently introduced to meet the need of business people and sports practitioners who are use to early morning training to complement their normal "work out" with a class that encourages, stretching, breathing practices and relaxation. The class is normally taken by Eddie Kelly who also takes to the Saturday morning class.
Eddie’s classes are fairly dynamic and based on many of the principles known to Ashtanga practitioners.
Eddie has been teaching his own form of dynamic yoga for many years and he is an extremely popular and well known instructor. After the class join Eddie for coffee and croisants at Cafe Creme in Hill Street. |
TUESDAY 10.00 – 11.30am with ALISTAIR LIVINGSTONE
This general class is suitable for everyone. It is generally a fairly small class and offers the possibility for students with minor injuries or ailments to get advice on how to use yoga proactices in the most beneficial, non injurious way for themselves. This class does not replicate the remedial yoga class, but for some students can offer an additional opportunity to practice. Alistair is an experienced remedial yoga practitioner with many years expericence of working with students who require a gentler approach. The class includes asana and pranyama practices that are appropriate for individual student’s needs and some relaxation and meditation. |
SATURDAY 8.30 – 10.00am with EDDIE KELLY

| | Eddie’s Saturday morning class is considered by students who attend regularly as a must to ‘set you up’ for the weekend ahead. Eddie’s classes are fairly dynamic and based on many of the principles known to Ashtanga practitioners. Eddie has been teaching his own form of dynamic yoga for many years and he is an extremely popular and well known instructor. These classes are based on strong physical asana practice. Numbers are limited to 15 in a class to ensure that everyione gets individual attention. After the class many of the students and Eddie enjoy coffee and croisants at Grounded Coffee Bar. |
THURSDAY 7.30 - 9.00pm with ALISTAIR LIVINGSTONE
| | Alistair's Thursday evening class has been running from many years and a number of students have worked with him consistently since the studio first opened. New students are always welcome. The class is aimed at more advanced practitioners and students who are interested in aspects of yoga philosophy and yoga energy systems, as well as the more physical approach to yoga. The class considers yoga asana and pranayama in greater detail and now includes elements of Ashtanga asnd Body, Mind Centreing. Yoga Nidra and Meditation practices are also included. SAVE BY BUYING BOOKS OF TICKETS or ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
You can now buy books of tickets in units of 12 tickets.
These can be used at any of our classes and are not time limited. They can be used individually at "Drop - in" classes, but for "Block" classes you will be asked to hand in 6 tickets at the beginning of the block and these cannot be redeemed in the case of absence.
12 tickets cost £90.00 = £7.50 per class; 24 tickets cost £175.00 = £7.30 per class; 36 tickets cost £250.00 = £6.95 per class
Individual Annual Membership: (48 Tickets + one private session) Can be used at any class without prior booking.
